How to Recycle Your CloudMiner License

How to Recycle Your CloudMiner License

If you need to reassign or reuse a CloudMiner license — for example, when a system is decommissioned, an employee leaves, or you're moving the license to a new device — you have two options depending on how your organization is set up.

If your organization already has admin access to the CloudMiner self-service portal, your designated admin can recycle the license directly:

  1. Log in to the self-service portal with your admin credentials.
  2. Locate the license you want to recycle.
  3. Deactivate it from the current system.
  4. Reassign it to the new system or user.

This is the fastest option and doesn't require waiting on our support team.

Don't have a self-service portal set up yet? We can create an admin account for your organization. Just nominate one person from your team to serve as the admin, and reach out to us at cloudminersupport@rite.digital to get started.

Option 2: Email Support with Your License Key

If you don't have self-service portal access, our support team can recycle the license on your behalf:

  1. Email cloudminersupport@rite.digital.
  2. Include your CloudMiner license key.
  3. Let us know the reason for the change (e.g., system replacement, decommission, reassignment).

Our team will process the request and confirm once the license has been freed up for reassignment.

Which Option Should I Use?

  • Have an admin and self-service access? Use Option 1 — it's instant.
  • No self-service portal yet? Use Option 2, or contact us to set one up for faster handling next time.
